Greetings! Thank you for taking the time to visit my art page. My name is Beatrix, and I am a nonbinary transmasculine artist hailing from Canada. As a self-taught illustrator, I am continuously exploring different styles and techniques to find my artistic voice. I draw inspiration from esteemed artists such as Junji Ito, Bryan Lee O'Malley, and Rebecca Sugar, as well as various sources such as video games, music, movies, and fashion. Art is a limitless form of expression that allows for complete autonomy and creative freedom. It is through pushing past the fear of judgment that true emotional and artistic connections are formed. I find solace in this space, where I can continue to nurture my passion for creating. Ultimately, to create is to embrace our humanity. Thank you for joining me on this artistic journey.

2024-08-30: GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!! / I've submitted some paintings to the local fair in my town and I'm very excited to put them up on display as this is the first time I've done something like this. In other news, I spend a lot of time working on my zines, particularly bitch mag. I feel it’s easier to put all my writing into one where I can also showcase my work etc etc. I do want to thank anyone who's a fan of my stickers! It really means a lot to me especially since I’ve been experiencing some mild health issues during this summer. Thanks to everyone whose been patient with me. I still am determined for calendars, sticker clubs and zine subscriptions - I just know all good things take time. Happy summer solstice everyone! <3
